BSS have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic and self motivated person , with an ambition to develop a career in finance to join the team as an Accounts Assistant, part of the Management Accounts Team, based in Leicester on a FTC .You will be joining a pro-active, close knit team where you will support the Finance Manager in achieving key departmental deadlines.What youll do With your drive and ambition, you will utilise your accountancy knowledge by performing month end financial processes and providing effective control via account reconciliations. With your excellent communication skills to organise and prioritise your workload. These will be the duties involved in your role:Managing time effectively and being able to react and investigate queries from all areas of the business. Assisting the Finance Manager with the delivery of the monthly management accounts for the business Take ownership and control of the monthly management accounts for BSSProvide support , information and analysis to the Group Finance team , senior management and key operational business stakeholders. Analysis over the BSS balance sheet, incorporating control and maintenance , including reconciliations and control accountsSupport with External auditors and providing informationRaising of supplier invoices and debit notes Ensuring accurate information is given to group via HFM.Support with ensuring the financial systems and properly maintained , administered and that appropriate internal controls are designed , implemented and operated effectively.Is this you? Youll already have management accounts experience, be confident in communicating with account queries and have demonstrable experience in an analytical role. You will be highly numerate an excellent team player and efficient in using Excel and Sage as a system.
