OverviewOur client is an award-winning, leading firm of accountants and business advisers, based acrossthe UK and overseas. They are now looking for a full-time Accounts Seniorto join their Accounts and Business Advisory Services team andsupport the delivery of a range of accounting services for a large portfolio of corporate clients.About The RoleThis role would suit an ambitious and professional individual, looking to develop a career in accountancy. Reporting to the Partners and Directors, theAccounts Senior willbe responsible fora variety of clients, including managing and leading the day-to-day client contact forbusinesses across a range of different sectors.Key Aspects Of The Role Include
  • Preparing complex accounts for a large portfolio of clients, including annual statutory accounts, corporation tax computations and management accounts;
  • Working with senior managers to offeradvice on best practice and provide recommendations for review;
  • Liaising with clients to build strong relationships, dealing with queries quickly and efficiently;
  • Reviewing accounts prepared by more junior team members;
  • Providing advice and mentoring to support the continued professional development of junior staff.
The ideal personThe ideal candidate will be ACCA or ICAS qualified, or near qualified withequivalent experience, with knowledge of working in an accountancy firm. They will understand the importance of strong client relationships and be able to efficiently deal with multiple clients with differing requirements.The position would suit an excellent communicator, with strong interpersonal skills, who is keen to learn and develop for a successful career in accountancy.
