Purchase Ledger Assistant| Leicestershire | up to £20k plus Study Support
We are currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant for a well established and recognised business within the Leicestershire area. If you are looking to further your career within a large business as well as continue with yourAAT studies, then this is most definitely the role for you as the business is dedicated to offering full AAT study support. Ideally you will have 12 months previous experience within a purchase ledger team to be able to then build on your skills and take your career forward.

Responsibilities:
  • Supporting the Group Accounts and Management team with the day to day purchase ledger function
  • Inputting and processing purchase invoices onto the inhouse system
  • Supplier statement reconciliations
  • Maintaining supplier records on the system, ensuring that they are up to date with supplier payments
  • Dealing with enquiries and queries coming into the department
  • General support to the Group Accountant

Ideal candidate
  • Minimum of 12 months experience within a purchase ledger function
  • Currently studying AAT
  • Good excel skills
  • Able to work within a team environment
  • Good communication skills at all levels
