Our well-established Glasgow client is looking to hire an experienced Accounts Assistant / Finance Administrator.

Salary up to £22k - £28k depending on experience.

Role - Accounts Assistant / Finance Administrator

  • Preparing and posting month end journals, accruals, payments and re-allocations
  • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate and escalate variances as required
  • Responsible for supplier payment reconciliation and credit control
  • Sage bank reconciliation
  • Daily cash reconciliation
  • Completing 12-week cashflow templates
  • Accounts payable and back transactional activity
  • Invoicing
  • All associated finance administration in line with the role

The Right Person

  • Must be a strong communicator, a team player with an eye for detail
  • Must have minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Must have experience of working with Sage and be competent with all Microsoft packages especially Excel
  • Numerically minded
  • Be someone who wants to contribute value and grow with the business long term
