Contract Scotland has an immediate opportunity for an experienced Accounts Assistant to join our client based in the Gogarbank area of Edinburgh. This is a full time, permanent position offering a competitive salary and the chance to work with a busy and established business.

This is an office-based role where you will work Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm, there may be some flexibility with hours.

As the Accounts Assistant you will report into the Commercial Manager and will process accounts for the business. Your duties will include:

  • Processing invoices both sales and purchase ledger
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Dealing with credit control including setting up accounts and chasing payments
  • Processing expenses
  • Preparing accounts for month end

You will have experience of working in a similar Accounts based position and will be confident in your ability to deliver in this role. In addition to the above duties, you would be tasked with working with 2 key accounts for the business so you must also have excellent communication and organisational skills.

This is a newly created position due to continued business growth and development.
