Accounts Assistant - Temporary

£20,000 - £30,000

Summary:

The Accounts assistant temporary role will be to aid Purchase, Sales and General Ledger duties.

Key Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Purchase Ledger:
  • Logging and processing of invoices
  • First point of contact for with queries
  • Sorting of post

Sales Ledger:
  • Checking with customers all items on ledger
  • First point of contact for both internal and external queries

General Ledger:
  • Counting and reconciliation of Petty Cash

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential
  • AR & AP Experience (AP mainly)
  • AAT basic to mid
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Windows - particularly the use of Excel.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, with an ability to communicate with all levels of the business hierarchy.
  • Ability to prioritise work & work methodically whilst working to deadlines.
  • High attention to detail to ensure accuracy in everything produced.
  • Self-motivated & Pro-active with an ability to work both on own and as part of a team.
