A Qualified Accountant is required to take on a strategic and varied role that is likely to grow with time, at a niche local business in Middlesbrough. You will get involved in the preparation accounts, CAPEX, purchase ledger processing, daily financials such as payroll, financial controls, reconciliation etc. Salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience

Role Overview

This position is perfect for a candidate who can bring lots of energy, and ideas to the table with an entrepreneurial streak. While undertaking the standard tasks listed above, there will also be involvement in developing financial systems and strategy to drive improvements / change management processes to help de-risk the business.

CV Screen is recruiting for a unique local business who have been running for 30 years, with well-known clients such as ASDA, M&S, Yorkshire Water, Seymor etc.

Skills Required

The Accountant will ideally have the following experience:
  • CIMA Qualified or similar
  • Proficient in Sage
  • Strong Excel skills (VLook Ups, Pivot Tables, Macros etc.)
  • Great problem-solving skills, and good knowledge of successful operational procedures
