ABS Resourcing Ltd is recruiting for a permanent position on behalf of our prestigious client based in Blackburn.

Our client is looking for an Accountant with at least 3 years of experience of working in an accountancy practice who is looking for a long-term career with a very successful practice with ambitious growth plans. The successful candidate will be exposed to all aspects of accountancy practice from account preparation, tax returns, VAT returns through to preparing final accounts for clients.

Experience of accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies is required as well as experience of preparing income tax returns, partnership tax returns, VAT returns, corporation tax returns and payroll. Experience of using Xero and QuickBooks on a daily basis is essential.

Duties Of The Role

Accounting and taxation work for a portfolio of clients working on various software packages, QuickBooks, Excel and client paper records as well as various ad hoc duties including bookkeeping and VAT returns.
