Specific Responsibilities:

Integrated Business Planning

  • Valuing and owning the Demand Management Review (DMR) dashboards, ensuring agreed-upon procedures (AUPs) are kept up-to-date to reflect any price increase and customer terms changes.
  • Support on Integrated Business Planning (IBP) business cases, working cross-functionally with Sales and Channel Marketing to ensure an acceptable Return on Investment (ROI) is delivered and that alternative scenarios have been considered.
  • Drive continuous improvement in the DMR and wider IBP process, enhancing the quality, efficiency and integrity of data presented and working towards a longer term 5 year forecast.
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller to integrate the DMR valuation into the full IBP cycle, as well as all forecasting and budgeting processes.
  • Provide support for the annual financial planning process including Unit Planning, Customer Sales targets and supporting the creation of Financial Planning Exhibits.

Income Statement

  • Maintenance and monitoring of commercial related accruals in SAP, ensuring they reflect the latest customer terms and specification contracts in place.
  • Month end posting and analysis for the Kohler Mira Selling Indirect Operating Expense line, including the Sales Bonus accrual.
  • Cost center meetings with the Sales Director to discuss actual performance as well as forecasting and planning.
  • Month end meetings with the Finance Team to discuss actual performance.
  • Work closely with the Financial Controller on the submission of the quarterly OpComm process, using the insights from the IBP process to drive the valuation.

Balance Sheet

  • Responsibility for reviewing and reconciling the commercial balance sheet accounts.
  • Understanding risks and opportunities holistically across each of the commercial balance sheet accounts
  • Ensuring the Sales Director, Finance Director and Financial Controller are aware of any risks and opportunities identified and that these are reflected through the IBP valuation.

Skills/Requirements

  • Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail
  • Adaptable and able to work under general supervision and to tight deadlines
  • Qualified CIMA / ACCA / ACA (essential).
  • SAP and BPC experience would be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Business Partner experience with the ability to balance technical capability with commercial delivery and a strong improvement mindset.
  • Available for occasional travel.
