We have an exciting opportunity for an Account Manager to join our fast-growing company based in Chepstow on a Hybrid basis.
Job Role:
The candidate will be responsible for generating repeat sales as well as new business development within a defined segment (geographical territory and/or key accounts). They will generate opportunities and sell products and services to achieve revenues in line with business objectives and sales targets.
The Account Manager’s aim is to build long-term relationships and to ensure sustained repeat business and growth.

A world leader in providing of critical telecom network hardware and asset management services. A professional telecoms asset management service specialist and consultancy. Buying new and refurbished multi-vendor telecom networking equipment form their partners worldwide. It is then refurbished and resold or recycled responsibly if the parts aren’t fit for reuse
Responsibilities:
- Service and develop current accounts within a defined territory or portfolio.
- Maintain regular contact with existing accounts, both via written, verbal and face-to-face communication methods, ensuring that our knowledge of the accounts within the company (the needs, expectations and requirements) are up to date and well communicated.
- Generate sales among client accounts, including upselling and cross-selling.
- Be responsible for identifying, developing and closing sales through sustained prospecting and activity (new business).
- Fully understand the business, buying and decision-making process of the customers as well as developing effective relationships with key contacts in the accounts to ensure ongoing sales.
- Maintain and develop a relationship with key individuals within our customer base with the aim to gain trust and transparency for ongoing and future opportunities.
- Ensure a high level of customer service, resolving and where applicable escalating issues/complaints to ensure a high level of service. This may include interfacing with other internal departments.
- Provide a professional handover of accounts as necessary on a timely basis.
- To achieve set monthly targets in line with company expectations as determined by the company.
- Be responsible for identifying, developing and closing sales through sustained prospecting and activity.
- Provide accurate detailed monthly and quarterly forecasts and ensure information on the CRM system is kept up to date.
- Operate within published commercial and contractual guidelines, making effective use of the escalation route.
- Understand and sell the whole product portfolio, including new customer solutions as appropriate to customer needs.
- Maintain a high awareness and knowledge of the market, including industry, competitors and telecoms and internal activities to ensure that all business opportunities are identified, considered and implemented appropriately.
- Provide a professional handover of accounts as necessary on a timely basis.
- Completing PQQs and other customer-related documents when required.
