Account Manager - Data Centre

Location: Exeter

The Company

From operations, consulting to transactions and market leading research, One of the worlds largest suppliers for fully integrated technology solutions for Data Centre’s .

The Position

This role is responsible for all operational activities required to ensure 24/7, 365 days uptime across the critical infrastructure on site. The Account Manager will lead and inspire the teams to fulfil all contractual obligations, developing the site and culture to embrace and embed values.

Providing leadership, management, and development of the team at the data Centre and ensuring that all financial and contractual commitments are met. To be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Data Centre Operations team.

This role would be ideal for someone with a strong understanding of financial and commercial aspects of contracts and the ability to build and develop those relationships with key business’ and stakeholders.

Essential Knowledge:

• Thorough understanding of business and customer-facing environments.

• Understands the requirements of operating in a contract environment.

• Strong M&E knowledge is required

• Strong understanding of operating in a critical environment

• Experience in vendor management, ability to manage and monitor progress

Essential Experience:

• Previous experience of a service industry role

• Been a part of a high-performing team.

• Management skills to maximise the performance of staff working directly for them

• Operated in highly regulated environments with a strong focus on compliance and QHSE

Essential Skills:

• IT Skills to achieve key tasks and give the business a sound reporting base.

• Superior written and verbal communication skills with strong oral presentation skills.

• Capable of working in a matrix environment.
