Summary

Account Manager - M&E Hard Services

My client is one of the UK’s leading providers of M&E Building Services & FM specialists in the provision of tailored and bespoke technical services, both maintenance and projects focussed, across a varied, blue-chip client portfolio to include Manufacturing/Production, Government, MOD, Corporate & Commercial settings respectively.

The Account Manager will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a comprehensive hard services facilities management capability to a large scale manufacturing/production facility located in Staffordshire.

The Account Manager will provide a single point of contact for the client and will strategically plan and ensure hard services facilities management delivery throughout the facility to include (not restricted to) M&E planned & reactive/remedial maintenance i.e. electrical, mechanical, HVAC and building fabric services as well as small-works project services of the same nature. The Account Manager will also oversee, as part of the TFM model, the provision of some Soft FM capability to the facility i.e. hygiene & cleaning services.

The Account Manager will have line management responsibility for x 12 direct and in-direct reports with team members to include technical services and soft FM respectively.

The Account Manager will ensure the provision of M&E hard services facilities management delivery in line with client scope, budgetary/commercial elements and stringent health & safety/compliance requirements due to the high governance, critical nature of the facility

Candidate Requirements

  • Hold technical M&E building services engineering qualifications and further training commensurate to the position of a Hard Services Account Manager.
  • The successful candidate will possess technical building services engineering background to include Mechanical HVAC and/or Electrical.
  • Health & Safety qualified to NEBOSH and/or IOSH level
  • Management of Hard FM service contracts, be that multi and/or single site environments, including both M&E Maintenance & Projects and TFM involvement to high governance, critical settings i.e. Manufacturing, FMCG, Production & Automotive
  • The successful candidate will be employed in and/or have held a similar position(s) within a Hard FM/Building Services Provider organisation
  • Although the position is M&E Hard Services bias the successful candidate will have a knowledge of TFM delivery
  • Staff management & Sub-Contractor Control
  • Experienced in P&L & budget planning
  • Possess strong communication, client interfacing and stakeholder relationship building skills.
