Are you an experienced and technically competent Commercial Account Executive wanting to be part of something interesting and exciting?

If so, a brilliant new opportunity has come to market for a Commercial Account Executive working for a Bolton-based independent insurance brokerage with ambitious growth plans, where you can play a huge part in that growth and the journey.

You will be representing and working for a brokerage with a great, fast-paced culture with a friendly team and a business that is committed to the development of its staff.

THE ROLE:

Joining the business as Commercial Account Executive, you will take responsibility for a book of existing commercial business, proactively managing, retaining and growing your portfolio of clients.

Key responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:

  • Managing a book of commercial business, ensuring a first in class service is delivered to clients at all times.
  • Utilising excellent communication and client-facing skills to develop and maintain strong working relationships, whilst being able to truly understand clients’ insurance needs.
  • Developing your book of clients, immersing yourself in generating and delivering on new business opportunities.
  • Designing, planning and executing insurance programmes for clients, keeping these appropriate and up to date at all times.
  • Working toward and monitoring own income targets and performance.

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • A proven background and good experience as Account Executive in Commercial or Corporate insurance, with excellent client facing experience.
  • Strong technical competency across a wide array of commercial insurance products, with a successful background in managing, retaining and growing a book of business.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both in a verbal and written manner ensuring top professionalism at all times.
  • Will have established excellent relationships with insurer decision makers and have a positive reputation in the insurance market.
  • CII qualifications and Acturis experience also beneficial.
