Account Director Medical Communications Multiple locations including London and Manchester (flexible working available) Cpl is working with a leading medical communications agency with a global presence who are seeking an Account Director. As an Account Director you will be responsible for leading and growing key accounts with a vast array of multichannel projects and programmes to maximise them toward their full potential.

The candidate will have a thorough understanding of the healthcare environment, the medical communications industry, the clients therapeutic area and business objectives, to be able to provide strategic direction and tactical input working across a portfolio of products. The responsibilities and requirements of this role include: Working closely with clients to understand their needs, develop a solution, manage and deliver their projects, and build successful ongoing relationships Building and maintaining strong, professional relationships at a UK, EU and global level Motivating, developing, and managing of junior members of the team (Account Managers/ Executives) Managing all financial aspects of project delivery A strategic mind-set and the ability to seek out and capitalise on business growth opportunities within existing accounts and through identifying opportunities outside the current client base Ensure the understanding and implementation of all company procedures and quality standards across all accounts and team members In depth understanding of the relevant policies and processes that impact the pharmaceutical industry (e.g. compliance ABPI/EFPIA) When applying for this role please ensure you have the following experience as a minimum: Life Sciences BSc or higher, or an excellent scientific and business understanding gained through work experience Significant experience in healthcare/ medical communications agency or in-house pharmaceutical role Strong leadership skills with a proven track record of line management experience To apply for this role Account Director role, please contact Daniel Rockett at CPL Life Sciences or via phone (020 8125 3947).
