Remote Position - One Day Per Week In Atherstone

£55,000 to £64,000 DOE + 25 Days Holiday + Pension

Monday to Friday 09:00 to 17:30

Account Director required for a leading and growing advisory service for the food industry around the globe. This is a great opportunity to work for a highly reputable company and play a pivotal role in developing relationships with blue-chip companies in the food industry.

The successful candidate will have experience within a similar role and be able to demonstrate customer and internal stakeholder management skills. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment and managing multiple tasks. You will ideally have experience dealing with major retailers within a client facing role, but candidates from any food industry background are welcome to apply.

The successful Account Director will oversee two to three Account Managers and will work as a representative of the company, working directly with a market leader within food retail. It will be your responsibility to lead and grow a major retailer account and ensure all work carried out is to the highest quality and meets their needs. You will be required to build a relationship with their client, develop trust, and proactively network. The goal is to truly understand the commercial objectives of the client and successfully formulate plans for projects to ensure these are achievable by identifying any capacity risks and solutions to potential problems that may occur.

In addition, you will be responsible for the commercial performance of the client and will oversee the commercial negotiations on new and existing services. This will involve quoting, agreeing and delivery of new projects, as well as regularly reviewing the cost of service and identifying areas to improve efficiency.
