We are currenlty recruiting for an Accounts Administrator based in Congleton to join a long-established Telecoms business.- You will be responsible for general client account setup and maintenance, including.
  • New customer bank account setup in CRM/Billing system
  • Direct debit runs weekly and monthly.
  • Taking card payments from customers over the phone and logging against their account
  • Maintenance of direct debits, including updates from ADDACs and bounced DDs.
  • Keeping billing system up to date with any customer payments, invoices, and credits
  • Ensuring debtors list is accurate and reconciled to bank payments.
  • Assist with credit control as required by Credit Controller
  • Making supplier payments
  • Liaise with off-site accountant as necessary and assist as needed.
  • Assist off-site accountant with VAT return.
    • Person required:- Experience of working in a sales ledger/credit control environment is preferred.
  • A friendly, grounded, and trustworthy individual
  • Fully competent with Microsoft Outlook & Excel
    • Required Education, Skills And Qualifications- Previous experience in sales ledger is essential, AAT Level 3 would be advantageous.
  • Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role, ideally within a telecommunications or technology company but not essential
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
