Hours: 37.5 per week

Location: Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Gateshead

Remuneration: £27,703

Opportunities have arisen for n Access, CCTV and Data-Telecoms Engineer to join the estates / maintenance team at QE Facilities Limited.

QE Facilities is a wholly owned subsidiary company of Gateshead Health NHS Foundation Trust.

This post is based mainly at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Gateshead, however you will be required to carry out work at other sites maintained by QE Facilities.

The successful candidates will be required to be the lead operative in relation to the installation and maintenance of data, telephone systems, two-way communication systems, intercoms, doors entry systems, intruder alarms, aerial and TV systems and CCTV.

All work must be carried out in compliance within QE Facilities safety standards and national legislation. The post holder must be fully aware of their Health & Safety responsibilities relating to their work and possess sufficient technical knowledge to avoid any danger to themselves, colleagues, hospital staff, patients and members of the public.

Must be able to work and act on his/her own initiative with minimum supervision and possess the ability to work and communicate effectively in a pleasant manner with all other members of staff across the QE Facilities remit.
