An experienced Bookkeeper is required by a growing charity based near Stoke. This great charity is looking for a confident and enthusiastic candidate with brilliant accounting/bookkeeping experience. This is a varied role, with great opportunities for progression within the company. An annual salary of up to £32,000 + benefits is available depending on experience. This is an office-based position. Responsibilities Prepare, post and control accounting journals Assist with the preparation of Invoicing and monitoring of revenue to the budget Undertake regular reconciliations of general ledger accounts, bank accounts, and sub-systems Maintain Asset Registers, including acquisition, disposal, write-offs, depreciation Interpretation of UK/NI accounting standards with the ability to communicate requirements to the organisation Coordinate the annual internal financial policy audit and the financial year end and external audit, ensuring the organisation abides by relevant legislation and statute Interpret financial information including exporting, sorting, visualising and providing insights on data Prepare ad-hoc analysis of financial information Requirements Qualification in accounting or relevant discipline Great experience and demonstrated understanding of financial accounting Demonstrated ability and experience in preparing budgets and financial reports and statements Advanced Microsoft Excel skills Proficient in using MS Office suite and familiarity with ERP and financial applications
