3rd Line System Admin Engineer

  • Location: Corsham (Hybrid), Customer site
  • Hours: Monday – Friday 9am – 17:30pm
  • Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 Gross per annum Plus Oncall Allowance

Your new role

We’re seeking an technical professional with advanced knowledge in networking or infrastructure systems to undertake this opportunity within an integral part of the business and further. Working closely with variety of stakeholders based within operational locations you’ll have continued exposure to develop in VMware, Core data centre technologies providing a path for those within the 2nd and 1st line.

  • Act as technical escalation for the 2nd Line System Admin roles.
  • Maintain a patching and upgrade plan for services deployed
  • Alongside troubleshooting identify process optimisation opportunities to enhance the experience

within deployment

What you’ll need to succeed

Demonstrable experience and working knowledge of:

  • Hypervisors and Virtualisation - VMWare ESXi, vCentre and vSphere
  • VEEAM Backup and Replication
  • Windows and Exchange PowerShell
  • Antivirus platform and ecosystem – ESET
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, WAN/LAN and VLAN’s, MPLS
  • Demonstratable experience and working knowledge of:

  • Windows and Exchange PowerShell
