UK-Chippenham2nd Line IT Support EngineerPart of LSL Property Services plc, PRIMIS Mortgage Network are the largest Mortgage and Protection Network in the UK with some 950 firms as business partners and approaching 3000 advisors working alongside us.PRIMIS offer world class support to our partner firms nationally through a multitude of support services which include our IT team whom are located in the PRIMIS HQ on the Methuen Park in Chippenham SN14.A split of home / office working is available.We are eager to recruit a 2nd Line Support Engineer into our existing well established IT team.Role PurposeTo provide a customer orientated service experience to the users of the IT systems, ensuring the correct support procedures are followed, whilst portraying a confident approach to users and colleagues.The successful candidate will have responsibility to provide and support IT systems and services provided to an end user community of approximately 320 users.The support will include desktop management and software roll out within agreed SLA’s, support of office phone systems, completion of back up processes, management and set up of equipment to support training, trouble shooting and resolution of issues reported alongside working with 3rd party providers.Key Accountabilities of the role
  • Hardware/Software support
  • Support of user requirements surrounding installations, moves and changes
  • Systems administration and back-up activities
  • Research & evaluation of software & hardware
  • Support of display & video equipment
  • Maintaining the IT Asset Registers, identification of risks within the IT department
  • Supplier management
Ideal Experience and Knowledge
  • 3 years plus experience in a similar role
  • Microsoft Qualifications Advantageous
  • Good knowledge of MS Active Directory at Current Server Levels, Strong Windows 10 Installation , troubleshooting and Build experience, General Network administration and troubleshooting, TCP/IP and WAN/ LAN /Wi-Fi
  • Strong PC Hardware troubleshooting skills
  • Active Directory user and computer administration
  • Proven experience working within IT service delivery
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • General Network administration and troubleshooting, TCP/IP and WAN/ LAN /Wi-Fi
