Duties and Responsibilities – “Your Role”

The successful candidate will be responsible for the creation of new data transformation workflows in order to visualise and shape technical data to support the creation of new analytics. The candidate will be skilled in data design and modelling and will need to be able to document data flows.

The candidate will learn about the needs of different customers and work with product management, technical & operations teams to ensure we deliver effective solutions to complex problems.

The candidate will work within our product management team and should have the below skills.

• Attention to detail and innovative problem-solving skills
• A passion for data workflows, including interrogation, transformation, validation, and automation
• Strong data visualisation skills
• Ability to communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Ability to manage complex projects and deadlines
• Self-motivated and approaches work with enthusiasm
• Able to work collaboratively, as part of a virtual team
• Interest in the current and future direction of the industry

Qualifications

• Educated to Degree, Master’s or PhD level in Geoscience, Engineering or Data Science
• Knowledge of SQL and/or familiarity with Python
• Proficiency in data design and modelling
• Familiarity with business intelligence tools (e.g. Spotfire, PowerBI) or data visualisation packages
• Knowledge of ArcGIS useful
• Knowledge of the energy industry
