REQUIRED FOR September 2021 - a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a child with speech and language needs.

We are an outstanding school looking to appoint a professional, dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our school as part of our SEND Team. The post is for 5 days a week, all day.

We can provide happy, enthusiastic children who are all keen to learn in our inclusive, supportive working environment. We Are Looking For Someone Who
  • Truly enjoys working with children and is completely motivated by the desire to support them in reaching their full potential
  • Ideally has previous experience of working with children with Speech and Language.
  • Can engage effectively and confidentially with parents/carers and their families
  • Is able to think creatively when finding solutions and problem solving
  • Is caring, kind and friendly to all
  • Can work as part of a team: including both the wider school community and external agencies
  • Is committed to on-going professional development

Information about the school

Tonbridge is a historic town, well known for its culture and heritage. Slade Primary School is nestled behind the castle, close to local churches, the River Medway and the local park, which are all ideal resources for the school to use to inspire and motivate children.

Slade caters for children from 4 years to 11 years old and includes a Specialist Resource Provision for pupils with a Hearing Impairment. We currently have 418 children on roll with 9 children in our SRP. We hope the information on this site will give you a picture of our happy and successful school.
