Tutor

Location: Kingston upon Hull

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £22-£26 per hour

GSL Education is a dedicated provider of staffing solutions for schools across the UK, with a strong commitment to ensuring the highest quality and safety standards for children in education. Currently, we are looking for tutors to work in our client school based in Hull starting as soon as possible. To apply for this role you must have an enhanced DBS (child workforce) registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.

Responsibilities May Include

  • Offer tutoring in a specific subject area, helping students grasp concepts, complete assignments, and prepare for assessments.
  • Adapt teaching methods to accommodate the learning style and pace of individual students.
  • Assess the strengths and weaknesses of students to identify areas where they require additional support.
  • Establish clear goals and learning outcomes for each tutoring session, aligned with the curriculum.
  • Develop supplemental materials, worksheets, study guides, and resources to enhance learning.
