Job Summary:
We are a thriving flagship salon and spa dedicated to providing exceptional hair and beauty services to our guests. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Salon General Manager to lead our team and drive our business forward.
The Salon General Manager will oversee all aspects of salon operations, including team management, customer service, business development, and financial performance. This role requires a dynamic, inspirational individual with strong leadership skills, excellent business acumen, and a passion for the beauty industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the salon operates smoothly, providing exceptional services to guests, and achieving revenue targets.
Responsibilities:
Leadership and Team Management:
- Recruit, coach, develop, and motivate the team of 70+ service providers and guest service team members with the support of the Salon Leadership Team.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork, professionalism, and creativity.
Customer Service and Guest Relations:Uphold high standards of customer service, ensuring an exceptional guest experience from booking to service completion. - Develop and maintain strong relationships with guests, understanding their needs and preferences to enhance satisfaction and retention.
Implement strategies to attract new guests, increase loyalty, and drive retention.
Business Development:
- Develop and execute strategies to achieve salon revenue and profitability goals.
- Analyse market trends, identify opportunities for growth, and implement effective marketing and promotional initiatives.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
Financial Management:
- Manage salon finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.
- Monitor and analyse financial reports, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective measures.
- Optimize resource allocation to maximize productivity and profitability.
Operational Excellence:
- Oversee day-to-day salon operations, ensuring cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health and safety regulations.
Stay informed about industry best practices and implement improvements to enhance the overall salon experience.
Qualifications
Role Requirements:
You will have:
- Degree in Business, Management, or a related field or equivalent professional qualification (preferred).
- Proven experience, minimum 5 years, in a managerial role within the beauty or salon industry.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and develop employees.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Solid understanding of salon operations, customer service, and business development strategies.
- Proficient in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and analyzing financial reports.
- Demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth and meet or exceed business targets.
- Knowledge of salon software systems and technology used in the beauty industry.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
- Proof of right to live and work in the country
