My client in the timber industry is looking for an enthusiastic and committed individual to join their sales team.
On a typical day you will support all aspects of sales and customer services with administration. This role will include extensive interaction with contractors and customers to determine their needs and offer guidance. Applicants with an interest in interior design and architecture would be favoured, although no specific knowledge is not required since full training about specific products, timber and design will be carried out.

On a typical day you will support all aspects of sales and customer services with administration. Mon - Fri:
- 08:00 - 17:00
- 42.5 hours
Main duties include:
- Preparing customer quotation via sage, process sample requests and orders
- Respond promptly to incoming enquiries received by phone and e-mail, providing advice on timbre products
- Build relationships with both internal and external customers to assist buying and marketing teams
- Support the sales team, ensuring that all customer needs are clearly understood, and requirements are met on a timely and professional manner
- Working closely with the sales team to ensure correct pricing and agreed margins are met
- Engage with visiting customers and suppliers in a friendly and professional manner
The ideal candidate:
- Has experience in an office based role
- Must have good written English and Maths
- Has excellent communication skills
- Is capable of organising and prioritising personal workload
- Has excellent IT skills, including Microsoft packages and Sage
