Location: Plymouth
Hours: 40 hours per week
Salary:£60,000 - £70,000 per annum

Are you a highly motivated and experienced Registered Home Manager looking for a new and exciting opportunity? Our client, a reputable nursing home in Plymouth, is currently seeking a dedicated and compassionate individual to join their team as a Registered Home Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Overall management and operation of the nursing home, ensuring the highest standards of care are provided to all residents.
  • Lead, inspire, and motivate a team of healthcare professionals, fostering a positive working environment.
  • Develop and implement care plans in accordance with individual resident needs and regulatory guidelines.
  • Monitor and evaluate the performance of staff, providing regular feedback, training, and development opportunities.
  • Maintain effective communication and build strong relationships with residents, their families, and external stakeholders.
  • Oversee the recruitment, selection, and onboarding of new staff members.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Valid registration as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a recognised regulatory body.
  • Proven experience as a Registered Home Manager, preferably within a nursing home setting.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and staff.
  • Sound knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks, including CQC standards.
  • Ability to manage budgets, resources, and maintain accurate records.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality care and improving the lives of elderly residents.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
