Network Engineer x2

Permanent – Fully Remote (on-site visit 3-5 times per year) – South West

Our Southwest based client are looking for 2 experienced Network Engineer to join there growing team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, repairing, and upgrading all of the IT Network infrastructure and systems. The successful candidate must have experience in a similar role, with a strong knowledge of ITIL & Cisco operating systems, as well as experience with Routing & switching, SD-WAN and Load Balancing Technologies.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and be able to work both independently and as part of a team. The Network Engineer must be able to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
High- and Low-level design creation

Switching and routing in a commercial environment.

Implementation & Troubleshooting of Enterprise Network Infrastructure

Supporting SD-WAN Networks

Cisco & Meraki Routing & Switching

Knowledge and understanding of data centre, compute and application environments, both on premise and cloud

Managing and maintaining firewalls in a commercial environment. (Checkpoint, Cisco ASA, FortiGate, Meraki desirable)

Wireless access points and controllers (Cisco, Meraki, Fortinet…)

MPLS, BGP & OSPF

Load Balancing, e.g. F5 BIG IP, FortiGate
