Description

This is a newly created role within the rapidly growing marketing department at Arch Insurance International.

This role will contribute significantly to the overall success of the marketing department in enhancing and growing the Arch Insurance brand through both traditional and innovative marketing activities.

There will be enormous scope and opportunity for involvement and learning across a wide variety of areas, with full support for professional qualifications and career development.

Over time, the role will become more focused on areas of key interest that the individual most enjoys and excels in.

Key Responsibilities:
Marketing
  • Manage marketing administration and logistics across a wide range of areas, including:
  • Marketing collateral, presentation, and communications
  • Social media, email, and digital marketing
  • Customer research and insights
  • Marketing project management system, document library and intranet.
  • Performance reporting
Community Relations
  • Help co-ordinate and project manage UK Community Relations, including:
  • Volunteering opportunities
  • Staff fundraising and engagement
  • Liaison with partner charities
Events
  • Help organise and manage logistics for:
  • In-person and virtual customer events
  • In-person and virtual staff events
  • Conferences, exhibitions and awards events
Other ad hoc duties

Supporting the delivery of the Arch Insurance International’s group annual marketing plans, annual CSR plan and related tactical activities.

Entry requirements
  • 5 GCSEs grade A*-C/9-4 or equivalent (including English and Maths)
  • Educated to A-level standard
  • Ideally, have at least 12-18 months of previous marketing experience/ exposure
Technical Skills:
  • High level of computer literacy
  • Experience of organising project, events, and charitable activities
Personal Skills:
  • Excellent organisational, project management and administrative skills with good attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Initiative and adaptability.
  • Proactive common-sense approach.
  • Enthusiasm and strong work ethic.
Training to be provided

Alongside this role, the successful apprentice will study the Marketing Executive Level 4 apprenticeship, which is suited for individuals who have some experience in marketing but can now focus on strategy and optimising project and team management skills to successfully manage stakeholder relationships, deliver marketing plans, and support the business.
