Role Overview:

gloversure is an award winning, full-service digital agency.

We have an exciting opportunity for a driven eCommerce developer to head up our eCommerce team. If you’re an experienced developer who enjoys creating eCommerce experiences that maximise potential and amplify growth then this is the role for you.

The ideal candidate for this role will have experience with Shopify or/and Magento within a digital or eCommerce agency.

This role can be based at either of our offices in Welshpool or Chester or remote/hybrid working.

We will also consider fully remote working for this position but you must be UK based.

The right developer will:

  • Have a fair understanding of the fundamentals and concepts of Magento or/and Shopify.
  • The ability to develop and manage eCommerce websites and web applications (PWA’s.)
  • A good understanding of Shopify development including custom themes and Headless.
  • Knowledge in Magento Extension development.
  • The skills required to analyse, debug, and test code.
  • The ability to write well-engineered source code that complies with accepted web standards.
  • Experience working with extension vendors (including payment gateways.)
  • The confidence to make recommendations and estimates on projects.
  • Have experience using Composer and GiT.
