This is a brand newly created role, which will offer strong personal development for the right person. This is a home based role, with travel to the Slough office twice a month.Client DetailsOur client is a leader within their industry, and are excited to be offering this newly created role to an passionate and progressive individual with previous experience in L&D. You will report into the Head of Talent, work alongside another Advisor and have the full support of the wider HR team.DescriptionThe L&D Advisor will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining LMS, ensuring information is up to date, easy to access and fit for purpose
  • Managing the learning inbox, answering questions and resolving queries quickly
  • Working with internal stakeholders to create example ’career stories’ that brings career pathways to life
  • Creation of internal resources including guides, ’how to’ videos and documents related to key topics, processes and systems
  • Working with in-house and with expert third parties, global solutions which includes a blended approach to learning such as coaching, classroom training, 1- 2-1 sessions, action learning & e-learning, microlearning, 360 feedback, etc
  • Sourcing external services, including monitoring and evaluating trainer vendors and course providers
  • Coordinating the day-to-day delivery of the early careers and grads programmes
  • Working with line manager to develop career pathways aligned to growth, L&D and building rotation programmes and support structures that will set apprentices up for success
ProfileThe ideal L&D Advisor will have the following skills/ qualities:
  • Confident user of MS systems including pivot tables, KPI reporting and large databases
  • A keen interest in L&D
  • Great attention to detail
  • Able to communicate (written and verbal) across all levels of the business
  • A passion and desire to learning and grown within an L&D team
  • Previous experience in an HR / L&D role
