The Asprey Group have an opportunity for an enthusiastic and self-motivated Accountant to join their Finance Department to process transactions including invoices and payments. To work and resolve queries with the team.

Main Responsibilities

  • Processing a high volume of multi-currency transactions including invoice posting and payment run creation
  • Reconciliation of vendor statements to SAP vendor accounting and liaising internally, with staff responsible for the raising and receiving of Purchase Orders, to ensure invoice matching and posting can take place
  • Reconciliations of GL to vendor accounts on SAP and assisting in the preparation of aged creditors report by company and suppliers. General housekeeping of vendor accounts including monitoring of debit balances
  • Understanding and preparation of accruals and prepayments monthly
  • Any other ad-hoc accounts related tasks and projects as requested

Skills

High level attention to detail and accuracy, multitasking, strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications & Training

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting/Finance/Part Qualified

Experience using SAP B1 & MS Office
