Events and Communications coordinator
Location: Gloucester
Hours of work: 37.5 hours, Monday to Friday
Salary: up to £31,000 DOE
Summary:
Our client based in Gloucester is looking for an exceptional Events coordinator to join our team. This is a great opportunity for someone to craft their skillset in a variety of marketing and communications tasks, working as a key member in a close team on a variety of creative and social media activities.
The ideal person should have experience supporting marketing and communications activities within the company .
Key responsibilities:
- Source, produce and plan engaging copy to ensure all areas of my client’s content such as news, blog and social media channels are up to date.
- Strategise, plan and deliver marketing campaigns to support Clients brand
- Develop the brand and promote Client’s message and values
- Support the organisation with market research, sales collateral, advertising and policies.
- Create engaging content for LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter & Instagram
- Analyse the performance of the marketing activities and report to stakeholders
- Create blogs, publications, case studies, newsletters and marketing materials
- Manage, monitor and update the company website
- Form strong relationships with all key internal and external stakeholders
- Attend events and meet with clients and charities
- Write engaging, impactful SEO friendly content across all formats to improve the company’s organic reach.
- Contribute to team brainstorms and idea generation for content, brand initiatives and campaigns.
- Maintain and update relevant marketing documentation and databases.
Experience, attributes & skills sought:
· Creativity and commercial awareness
· Social media channel management and content creation
· Great communication skills – MS office, telephone, emails, letters, reports
· Excellent prioritisation and time management skills
· Able to work in an organized manner to strict deadlines – planning, diary management, department systems set up and maintenance
· Proven experience of working on social media and PR campaigns from conception to finish.
· Experience writing engaging content in long and short form.
