Role Purpose:

Curve is recruiting its Strategic Finance Manager, who is passionate about accelerating the growth of our business further. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the future of Curve, by providing insights for day-to-day business decisions, building out our roadmap of future opportunities and developing our financial capabilities. This is a highly visible role with exposure across the Finance team and key business stakeholders.

Some of the great things you will do with us:

• 
  Providing finance business partner support to Growth, Product, and Operations stakeholders, influencing strategic decision-making and performance through insights and understanding of key drivers and trends.
• Investor reporting and preparation of analysis for board-level discussions and fundraising material.
• Develop and enhance the tracking of relevant market information, trends, competitor analysis, and investor landscape.
• Develop business cases to size initiatives based on strategic importance, financial metrics, and execution effort.
• Help drive the foundational financial planning and reporting processes within the business on a monthly/quarterly/semi-annual cadence and other FP&A activities.
• Design, maintain and evolve key financial models, setting KPI targets, and timely reporting of KPI insights.
• Assess revenue opportunity and investment costs for new products, or opportunities to scale our cost base.
• Support outcomes across the organisation with ad-hoc analysis (e.g. user modeling, cost optimisation).

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in business, finance, engineering or a related field and a minimum 3 to 5 years of finance experience
• Tech savvy Data analytics, SQL skills, advanced Excel and PowerPoint/Google user capabilities
• Core payments experience highly preferred (ideally card payments, acquiring bank, issuing bank, card network, fintech)
• Ability to operate autonomously across multiple teams in a matrixed organization
• Management consulting, investment banking/PE, corporate finance training preferred
• Highly structured, rigorous, and analytical
• Proactive, collaborative with partners, strong communication skills and tenacity for improving the way things are done
