Net Talent is exclusively recruiting for a Head of Operational Systems for one of our prestigious clients.

This Head of Operational Systems will be responsible for leading IT for a number of brands across EMEA. This includes business relationship at all levels, leading IT roadmaps linked to plans and IT strategy and platforms. It has direct responsibility on Operational domains (Amont, Manufacturing, Finance and Controlling, Supply Chain, Human Resources and Legal) as well as the coordination with the EMEA Heads of for the other areas (T&O&S and Consumer, Sales & Marketing).

Description

Team Management

- All aspects of management of the teams (including UK, Poland and other countries)

- Work closely with Finance, Operations and Supply in each Maison to deliver the application function

- Transformation of the team to meet strategic objectives

- Work as ‘one team’ with central IT to deliver the IT strategic initiatives

Business Needs

- Partnering with the business to assess needs, scope requirements and identify areas of improvements

-Working with all the teams to leverage opportunities for the markets including innovation, competitors and market trends, etc.

- Assisting key users in the markets to scope and validate change requests to applications aligned to versioning planning for core applications

Project Portfolio

- Maintaining a clear application project portfolio roadmap, prioritising deliverables for EMEA and producing monthly reporting to the IT EMEA Director and central IT on status, workload and issues, coordidnating with EMEA PMO.

- Managing and coordinating the IT architecture for EMEA

- Project Management and implementation of core strategic and regional programs with MHIS and the business, ensuring roles and responsibilities are well-defined with key stakeholders in IT and business

- Change Management to ensure usage and adoption of applications and realisation of business benefits and process efficiencies. Training programs should be agreed with the IT Director and facilitated with MHIS M&A

- Responsible for assisting business in assessment and due diligence on IT side when pursuing M&A leads

- Responsible for defining and executing the onboardings plans for each new Maison, leading on the operational systems parts and coordinating with the Head of Pillar on T&O&S and S&M parts.

- Responsible for integrating into the team any local IT resource in the Maison to be onboarded Risk, Compliance and Security

- Management of core and local applications in accordance with MH governance, compliance, security policies and procedures Best Practices Leading and/or participating in community led initiatives to promote best practice and/or collaboration on key issues or areas of development

Education : Degree in IT (Information Management / Systems / Technology / Computer Science) MBA or business degree (strategy, management)

Languages : English bilingual. French highly important. Poland valuable. Other European languages useful.

Professional experience & skills: Minimum 10-year experience on back office applications with a proven track record in a multi-country environment.

Experience of SAP as analyst or project manager.

Significant experiences driving M&A initiatives on IT side.

Minimum 5 years of management experience with a team (including senior positions and external contractors) in a complex environment.

Solid interpersonal and communication skills.

Capacity of synthesis and of clearly explaining complex concepts across the organization (both business and IT).

Highly organized individual who is able to work with limited direction; must be able to set and adjust priorities independently.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy.

Must be customer service focused and demonstrate a sense of urgency to ensure that all topics advance adequately.

Must be able to work with all levels of the organization and must be able to adapt to various work styles.

Ability to make timely and effective decisions is crucial.
