Emtec Facility Services Ltd is a leading building maintenance provider with extensive contracts across the country. We are currently looking for an experienced Building Service & Maintenance Engineer on a permanent contract, working within a prestigious commercial property in Edinburgh City Centre.
The Role:
The job involves Planned Preventative Maintenance and reactive maintenance to commercial mechanical & electrical systems, working within the property. You will have experience/expertise in diagnosing faults and rectifying them. Ensuring all statutory requirements are maintained.
Requirements for the role are:
The engineer will have minimum 5 years’ time served experience and have previously worked as a mobile or static engineer within the facilities maintenance sectors, undertaking mechanical & electrical Planned Preventative Maintenance and repairs, fabric repairs and be conversant with small works installations and the testing / completing of documentation. The engineer will also be responsible for the on-site supervision of our sub-contractors when they attend site for specialist Planned Preventative Maintenance duties and reactive repairs.
The Engineer will have good understanding of Health & safety within the workplace and qualifications: SVQ: Service, Maintain & Commission Building Engineering Services or as a minimum C&G in electrical disciplines and 18th edition wiring regs.
