JP Recruitment are hiring! Our client based in Preston require x2 CNC Machinists to operate a high standard production run.

As a CNC Machinist your duties will include:

  • Program and set machine tool using company supplied production/process documents.
  • Ability to read and understand technical drawings
  • Operate CNC machines to a high standard.
  • Ensure that work produced meets quality and technical standards through 1st off processes and self inspection
  • Complete internal production/ quality documentation
  • Assist with Production Planning to achieve efficient machine operations
  • Operate FLT / Crane to load & unload billets.
  • Perform routine maintenance and housekeeping
  • Comply with H&S Regulations

Skills And Qualifications

  • Time served recognised engineering Apprenticeship, minimum of City Guilds/NVQ in Mechanical Engineering
  • HNC Qualification an asset
  • Minimum of 5 years of 3, 4 and 5 Axis machining
  • Knowledge of Heidenhein
  • Aerospace manufacturing experience an asset
  • Good communication skills, and problem solving capabilities.

Pay

  • £15 - £15.50 per hour

Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Experience:

  • cnc machinist: 5 years (Preferred)
