Do you have excellent Microsoft Excel skills and consider yourself to have exceptional attention to detail. Are you incredibly process driven and good at dotting the i’s and crossing the t’s? Have you got experience within a facilities or audit admin environment? If so, we have an excellent opportunity for a Business Facilities Admin person who is; self-motivated, organised and able to work in a busy environment without making mistakes.
Based in Salford Quays (but home based initially) we are looking to recruit a professional Business Facilities Admin person who has experience of process driven tasks and managing a variety of duties that hold strict timelines whilst ensuring that client communication is maintained and logged accurately.
This is initially up to a six month temp role that could very well lead to a longer or permanent position within the business. Whilst this cannot be guaranteed as it is subject to business demand and capability, there is a likelihood that the role will become permanentfor the right person.
If you don’t like a structured day, this role really isn’t for you. However, if you are, organised, methodical and have strong data handling skills where you are used to working with large volumes of data, it could be just the job you’ve been looking for.
The good thing about this role is that there is well established processes and procedures in place for auditing, record keeping and reporting. Which means that if you enjoy, and are good at following processes, then this could mean it will be an easier transition into the role.
This role is also incredibly admin driven where you will be tracking documents to make sure the things that need to happen, do happen and happen in the right order, at the right time.
There is lots of interaction with many departments within the business, predominantly via email but via MS Teams and phone too so you will need to be comfortable and capable communicating across all mediums and departments, including: fleet, comms, management, shipping, logistics, technical, sales, operations as well as external customers.
Your accuracy, ability to collate data and produce reports, along with strong organisational capabilities are all essential to this role.
We are looking for someone with experience of:
- Excellent organisational skills being able to handle multiple tasks to completion
- Self- motivated and able to prioritise workload effectively
- Confident and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Able to respond quickly to need and demand
- Good verbal, written and listening skills
- Strong data handling capabilities and comfortable working with large volumes of data
- Is able to work from home until the pandemic subsides
This is a very busy, diverse work environment and it is very unlikely you will ever get a chance to be bored!
With this in mind we need someone who is happy to be kept busy, can work to speed, is good with processes, can work effectively in a team, has excellent communication skills, has initiative and preferably has an audit, facilities type background.
In return our client can offer a decent hourly rate (equivalent to between £23k-25k) and long term work with the possibility of it becoming a permanent position.
